Get to have three whole days off and I know Memorial Day, Monday going out to Cabazon Outlet for the day. We load up a couple of SUV's and about ten of us go out there. I dont like shopping, but when we go like this it makes it a lot more enjoyable.
Tomorrow I need to plant those flower, before I finish a patio tiled bench I've been working on forever it seems. I need to also replace a motion sensor on a light fixture, another two-in-a-half month project I need to finish. Oh and off to Pick-a-Part in Wilmington for a transmission for a friend. The Tranny might roll into Sunday, you think? LOL
Sunday, nephews birthday party in the evening, so maybe a bicycle ride out to Marina Del Ray to counter the birthday cake. I'm really going to play the rest by ear.
5/27/08 Update: Well I didn't get to the flower planting, but I did fix the light sensor Saturday. Also checked out the junk yard for a 5 speed transmission, but didn't try to pull it until Sunday.
Sunday, was pretty much into the junk yard pulling the transmission out of a front wheel drive Mazda. That was my first experience with a front wheel drive, but it was a piece of cake.
Later on got ready for the birthday party, with my finger nails not coming as clean as I would have liked, LOL.
Had some extra time before the party, so I test drove a "08" Jeep Wrangler. It was a lot of fun to drive and I couldn't believe the navigation system. The Jeep Rubicon I drove was fully loaded, of course and very nice. I rented a couple of H2 Hummers and really liked the prestige of driving it, but going out to the mountains and go 4 wheeling? I don't think I would enjoy myself thrashing it into rocks, LOL.
Monday, spent the day shopping with the family out at Cabazon Outlet and basically ate, ate, ate and then ate some more going home. It was a lot of fun. My family went crazy at the new Convers outlet store. Me, I bought a "Convers" ball cap and t-shirt, because of a fellow blogger I have been reading ;).
