Last Weekend

Saturday, went to worked the first half. The second half, stuck around the house and worked on finishing the bench I've been working on for at least five months.

Sunday, went to Holy Cross, first thing to pay our respects... After, I pretty much finished up the bench, maybe one more coat of stain.
Went out with the family later on in the day.

As far as eating over the weekend, pretty much ate everything that was put in front of me. Went to the store to get an idea of the goodies to bring with us on the plane trip to Vietnam in July. We bought some Lay's Staks potatoe chips and finished them off in no time.

6/3/08 Weighed in this morning at 176.2 pounds and Monday morning, I actually weighed 175.0 pounds. It has to be those potatoe chips I finishes last night, with the oatmeal/honey that pushed my weight up.

Hey, I went to the gym yesterday, could this just be muscle mass instead of potatoe?

6/4/08 weighed in this morning at 174.4 pounds. Still sore from the early Monday morning workout, so we didn't go again this morning :(. Up to three years ago, we used to be regulars at Bally's. Now everything has changed there like people and the machines are new.

I think I am going to start winging myself off the oatmeal and workout more frequent, is the plan. We are trying to finish off the salmon, so I ate that last night with potatoe (LOL, no salt) and salad.

6/5/08 Good morning, weighed in at 172.6 pounds, yes!!! Went with the oatmeal and a tablespoon of honey last night. Scrubbed the shower down last night, it was a workout. Speaking of workout, we did that this morning too ;). Still trying to figure out how to log progress with what I do at the gym. I am leaning toward the bench press, so far 3 sets with 6 reps at 95 lb.

6/6/08 Good morning, weighed in at 172.6 again this morning. That's pretty good considering I had Salmon, baked potatoe and a large green salad. Did the reveiw of mail and paid a bill. The rest watch TV, but not to much of the Laker's lose :(. (10 points)

6/11/08 Hello, weighed in this morning at 176.6 pounds. I hurt my shoulder again reaching for the glass shower door. It closes pretty hard against a plastic stop, so that is what I believed did the shoulder in. I have been taking a lot of asprin and to off set the up set stomach, I have been eating the heavy foods (good excuse).

6/12/08 Good morning, weighed in at 174.4 pounds this morning. I had one piece of chicken and a salad. Still taking the asprin/tylenol/advil combo, for the pinched nerve in my left shoulder blade area. I was thinking of ways to get more protein in my body, so I had a boiled egg with two pieces of toast this morning.

6/13/08 Good morning, weighed in at 175.6 pounds this morning. I had two pieces of chicken and a salad with no exercise for a week now. My shoulder is in a pinch of pain still. Taking the tylenol, but eating enough to off set the stomach problems that come with it. I'll try to get a good walk in tonight, with the wife.

6/14/08 Good morning, weighed in at 176.0 pounds this morning and not very happy with it. On a big weekend of self indulgence my max goal is 173 lbs. I feel I should be at an average of 170 lbs. maximum during a normal week. Last night I had a hot dog followed by a Cheez-it's while watching X-men. I am just asking to have health problems.

6/16/08 Good morning, weighed in at 175.6 pounds this morning. Just sad I can't seem to keep it down to 173 lb. max. It's going to be 77 degrees, partly cloudy today. Might try to walk some of this off tonight and get back to oatmeal.

6/17/08 Good morning, weighed in at 173.6 pounds this morning. I had two pieces of chicken and a small amount of white rice. The wife and I went for a 40 minute walk last night also, so that helped. Woke up this morning with the shoulder a little worse than yesterday, so took a couple Tylenol.

6/18/08 Good morning, weighed in at 174.0 pounds this morning. Figured as much from the eating of popcorn to offset the Tylenol I was taking yesterday. All I did was watch TV with a ice pack on my shoulder when I got home.

I'll have to stick to the oatmeal for a while, the gym is a definite no no right now.

6/19/08 Good morning, weighed in this morning at 174.6 pounds. LOL, it was a test of will last night for me. Last night the wife barbecued pork and beef ribs. I only had a total of three ribs and small amount of rice. This is going against my diet big time, but tonight I think I will eat some left overs (just three, what 0.5 lb. more?) LOL

6/20/08 Good morning, weighed in at 176.4 pounds this morning. This was after a pot of coffee and some breakfast. On a normal morning I weigh myself before, but it was so hot in the house I could not get back to sleep at 4:00 am. I opened up the windows and loaded up some program in my lap top for the 16 hour flight next week.

6/21/08 Good morning, weighed in at 173.2 pounds this morning. I had a turkey dog and later went with some pineapple. Oh, had some cheeze (sharp) with Skyflake crackers. Its 7:42 am and 81 degrees already this morning, hot hot hot day.
