


Well I gone and did a bike ride this evening to lose some of my weight. I got the idea from a fellow blogger, that was on a soup diet. I said to myself I can do something like that with Oatmeal. Doc said I need to lose the weight, weighing in at 184 pounds. When I started going to him I only weighed 165. I thought that was over exaggerated, but he showed me with his notes, sure enough. (18 years ago, come on Doc!!!)
PS: Guess what my wife is cooking for dinner tomorrow? Soup LOL, I am already sick of soup from reading my fellow blogger's post. :))
4/27/08 I am on the Oatmeal/Soup Diet and I am already at 181 pounds (-3 pounds). I thought I would just add to this post, as I have with the other :) I am so sorry I am laughing so much of the soup idea of my wifes, who new?
4/29/08 I weighed in this morning at 182 pounds, i don't think the Beef/Vegetable soup last night, is good for my diet. I hate to admit it, but the bicycle ride/ exercise helps. I can't tonight but Wednesday night I'll try to make it to the beach (1.5 miles) and/or beyond :).
4/30/08 Wow, weighed in at 179.2 pounds this morning, yes!!! I ate oatmeal with a banana last night. I plan on doing to bicycle ride still, but get this. My wife wants me to stop by and pick up two boxes of M&M's after work. What is this, LOL, a test of will? Anyway, plan to make it out to Marina Del Ray (Balona Creek Bridge) by 6:45pm and back before sunset 7:35pm. (12 miles no problem)
5/1/08 Weighed in at 178.4 this morning :). I did the bicycle ride without a hitch. Was faster on the ride than I thought I'd be, so I had to wait for the sunset shot. I actually went up off the beach and got a to say "Over the house tops/sunset." I will have to get those posted later today. So the oatmeal/ bike ride is working for me, -.8 more pounds :). Tonight just catch the TV and reap the reward.
5/2/08 Good morning, weighed in at 177.8 (-0.6) pounds today. I used to be a big calorie counter, so I added up my daily diet. I am only eating about 1100 calories a day. I think eating the oatmeal as my last meal of the day probably knocks off about 400 to 500 calories on my daily diet. The wife is so funny, she pokes at my stomach and wants me to eat a big dinner/supper before I go to bed :)). Love is complicated, don't you think?
5/3/08 weighed in at 177.8 again eating oatmeal and buttered popcorn. I was out shopping with my wife and I got hungry or bored :). Anyway, I can get a bicycle ride later today and in hoping to get a nice sunset shot with the clouds glowing orange. Have a good day as well.
5/4/08 weighed in at 179.2 this morning. I had soup last night and it has got to be the heavier meals you can eat at night. I am going to restrict my soup eating to lunches only LOL, impossible, but I will try. I had a really good bike ride, fast, less winded and even a little farther yesterday.
5/5/08 weighed in at 179.2 again. I shouldn't have gone to McDonald and had the Angus Mushroom Swiss for lunch yesterday. The soda doesn't help either, but I did go with the individual salad instead of French fries. For dinner I went with raisins in my oatmeal. Later while I was watching "I Am Legend" with Will Smith, I ate slices of mango probably wasn't good idea.
5/6/08 Good morning, I weighed in at 177.6 (-0.2) this morning, yeah!!! Did the oatmeal/banana last night and did a walk to the video store to return the movie from yesterday. Eating 1100 calories and walking 45 minutes after eating my dinner was a contributer to the progress.
5/7/08 Good morning, I went to the dentist about 4:00pm, so I really didn't feel like eating anything last night. I ate some mango sliced&diced and that was it. This morning I weighed in at 175.6 pounds (-2.0), but can I keep it off, is the question. I rented the movie "Clover Feild" last night, so tonight I will walk (45 minute) again to return it.
5/8/08 Good morning, Weighed in at 176.2 pounds (+0.6) this morning. I know skipping a meal isn't the answer. Tonight going for a bicycle ride, maybe to the Benihana Restaurant in Marina Del Ray today(29 miles total). One of my previous neighbors works there, but not sure if she will be working tonight. I believe the little lady will remember me, because I helped save her nieces fish. Yeah its feel good to do good deeds ;).
5/9/08 Good morning, weighed in at 175.6 pounds(-0.6) this morning. Last night ate oatmeal with raisens and did the bicycle ride. I ran out of energy on the ride. About 40 minutes into it, I just was plane exhausted. Its probably do to the walk the night before, not eating the night before that and trying to do to much on such low calories. Its two weeks now and I didnt loose the 10 pounds :), but there is always tomorrow.
5/12/08 Good morning, weighed in at 179.2(+3.6) pounds, again!!! I ate way to much over the weekend, because of Mothers Day :). Belated Happy Mothers Day to you mom's I didn't get to in person :). I didn't have time to do any exercise at all. Wanted to go to the gym this morning before work, but the wife had a hard time sleeping last night. I really don't want to go to the gym without her there, because she is cute and gives me something to forget what I'm really there to do? :). Back to the oatmeal dinners for a while, have a good day.
5/13/08 Good morning, weighed in at 177.8 pounnds this morning. I ate oatmeal and raisens last night. After eating, my wife and I went for a walk to her father's house and to the video store, 45 minutes. I really want my heavest weight to be 173 pounds max., this is the goal ;).
5/14/08 Weighed in at 176.0 (-1.8) pounds this morning. Ate oatmeal and two table spoons of honey. Now I am not sure if it is the honey or that I have been a little better than this weight already. Why is that is took two days to put on 3.6 pounds and takes twice as long to get rid of it? :),
5/15/08 Weighed in at 174.6 pounds this morning. Yes, its the lowest I have been on my diet so far :). I just had a banana and mango last night, because my stomach wasn't feeling so good.
5/16/08 Good morning, weighed in at 175.6 (+1.0) pounds this morning, proves skipping dinner isn't good way to consistently loose weight. What really bad I got to go to the dentist later today, knowing I am not going to feel like eating afterwards. I brought in some vegetable baked HiHo's crackers maybe to offset not eating tonight. I haven't been exercising either, witch is probably bad (sad week).
